P.M Institute of Civil Services Examination is a decidedly devoted residential centre of excellence for rigorous and specific coaching for elite civil service examinations. Grooming the young talented graduates for Indian civil services examinations is the goal of the institute. The institute provides a right ambience and all facilities for a civil service aspirant to accomplish and excel in the civil services competitive examinations. The institute has become a dynamic hub of civil service aspirants through its ardent and committed work.
The minimum eligibility for admission is graduation in any discipline; preference will be given to post-graduates and professional degree holders. Selection is based on a test/interview conducted by the board and faculty members of the institute. The one-year coaching programme commencing in August every year covers both preliminary and main oriented classes. Geography, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology and Malayalam literature are the optional subjects currently offered by the institute with General and Essay papers. The institute offers scholarships to select candidates on the basis of merit-cum-means.
A committed faculty with an ideal vision and rich experiences in the civil services examination coaching work towards motivating the candidates for their overall academic and personality development. The present shift in the modus operandi regarding the selection of aspirants by UPSC gives extra fillip to the relevance of this kind of coaching. The programme delivers the contents as per the curriculum framed by the Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C). The curriculum of program covers basic academics and personality development modules which spans the space for reinforcing the confidence and developing the inner personal identity of the candidate. An exclusive residential facility for the students of this coaching programme is provided on the campus.
