1) Inauguration of ' Canopy' Nature Club - The 'Canopy' Nature club was inaugurated by Dr. Sobheendran, Retd. Prof. & Environmentalist, Guruvayoorappan College, Kozhikode on 14^th june 2010. He also gave a talk on 'Nature' and planted a tree near Zoology P.G. Block as a symbol of conservation.

2)  Zoology Association Inauguration - Dr.C.R.Neelakandan, a well  known Environmental Activist inaugurated the Zoology associationand gave a Lecture on "Various Environmental Issues" on  29^th september 2010.
